44th Congress of the Polish Society of Orthopaedics and Traumatology (PSOT)– September 12-14, 2024
On September 12-14, 2024, the 44th Congress of the Polish Orthopedic and Traumatological Society took place in Katowice. During this largest orthopedic gathering, members of the Polish Orthoplastic Society (POS) actively participated, promoting the ideas of reconstructive surgery and demonstrating its potential in saving patients' health and lives.
Polish Orthoplastic Society in the European Federation of Societies for Microsurgery
The Board of the Polish Orthoplastic Society is pleased to announce that POS has been accepted into the European Federation of Societies for Microsurgery (EFSM). During EUROMICRO, held in Milan on May 9-10, 2024, the PTChRNR delegation, consisting of Bartosz Mańkowski and Adam Domanasiewicz, represented the society.
2nd Congress of the Polish Orthoplastic Society
On April 11-13, 2024, the 2nd Congress of the Polish Orthoplastic Society "Orhoplastic surgery" took place at the historic Moszna Castle. The congress program was intense and diverse. Training lectures and participant presentations were held in sessions on Friday and Saturday. The event brought together physicians from six different specialties, representing 15 medical centers across Poland specializing in reconstructive surgery.
There is a gentlemen's agreement but it should be a permanent duty.
Taking advantage of the presence of surgeons from several centers performing limb replantation, after the end of the 1st Meeting of the Polish Orthoplastic Society "Orthoplastic surgery", a meeting was held on the issues of the functioning of the replantation service, in particular replantation in children.

On March 10-11, 2023, at the Castle of the Gniezno Archbishops in Uniejów, members and supporters of the POS met during the "Orthoplastic surgery" - First Meeting of the Polish Orthoplastic Society. The program of the Congress included a session on soft tissues flaps and a session devoted to particularly difficult cases that limb reconstructive surgeons encounter in their daily practice.

On November 25-26, 2022, the XIV International Poznan Course in Upper Extremity Surgery - forearm, wrist and hand, took place in Poznań. Thanks to the invitation and courtesy of the organizers, Prof. Leszek Romanowski and Dr Piotr Czarnecki, a scientific session was organized during this event under the patronage of the Polish Orthoplastic Society. POS was represented by Dr Kaja Giżowska - Kacprzak, Dr Ireneusz Walaszek, Dr Adam Domanasiewicz, and Dr Bartosz Mańkowski. Prof. Steven Hovius participated in session.
