W dniach 12-14 września 2024 roku odbył się XLIV Zjazd Polskiego Towarzystwa Ortopedycznego i Traumatologicznego w Katowicach. W trakcie tego największego spotkania ortopedycznego, członkowie Polskiego Towarzystwa Chirurgii Rekonstrukcyjnej Narządu Ruchu (PTChRNR) byli aktywnymi uczestnikami, szerząc idee chirurgii rekonstrukcyjnej i pokazując jej możliwości w ratowaniu zdrowia i życia chorych. Współorganizowana sesja zatytułowana „Replantacje i rekonstrukcje” cieszyła się dużym zainteresowaniem i poruszała istotne kwestie związane z mikrochirurgią, replantacjami oraz zaawansowanymi technikami rekonstrukcyjnymi stosowanymi w wielotkankowych urazach kończyn, również u dzieci.
On Saturday, September 14, a dedicated session of our Society was also held as part of the Congress. This session provided a broader perspective on brachial plexus reconstruction, patient preparation for multi-tissue reconstruction, and the possibilities for reconstructing segmental bone defects. The session was accompanied by an intense discussion, highlighting the significance of the topics covered and the well-chosen agenda.
We sincerely thank all Society members for their active participation, co-organization of sessions, and valuable contributions to the discussions, all of which contributed to the high scientific level of the Congress.
