The Polish Orthoplastic Society was established

On October 1-2, 2021, the "Orthoplasty" meeting was held in Pabianice, Poland. Doctors specializing in reconstructive surgery of the musculoskeletal system from 14 orthopedic and surgical departments in Poland attended the meeting. 

During the meeting, examples, possibilities and experience of the centers in reconstructive treatment were presented. Then, the issues of accessibility and the settlement of reconstruction procedures were discussed.

On the initiative of prof. Jarosław Czubak and prof. Leszek Romanowski, the assemblies considered the need to associate physicians involved in the reconstruction of the musculoskeletal system, especially with the use of microsurgical techniques, which resulted in the establishment of the Polish Orthoplastic Societyon December 3rd, 2021. We elected the president of Society - Dr. Paweł Maleta, and the vice-president Dr. Bartosz Mańkowski.
