Za nami IV Zjazd Polskiego Towarzystwa Chirurgii Rekonstrukcyjnej w Krakowie. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
On May 15\u201316, 2026, the stunning settings of the Zinar Castle and the Forest Hotel in Krak\u00f3w hosted the 4th Polish Orthoplastic Society Congress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the morning, prior to the official commencement of the Conference, the General Reporting and Election Meeting of the Society Members took place. During the meeting, the achievements of the past year were reviewed, the title of Honorary Member was bestowed upon Professor Alexandru Georgescu and Professor Marco Innocenti, and the new composition of the Society's Executive Board was elected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This year\u2019s edition of the Conference brought together numerous participants from across Poland, as well as distinguished international guests, including specialists from Italy, Romania, the United Kingdom, the United States, and South Korea. The event was held under the honorary patronage of the 5th Military Clinical Hospital in Krak\u00f3w.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Conference was interdisciplinary in nature, reflecting the fact that reconstructive surgery requires a multidisciplinary approach. It served as a forum for exchanging knowledge and experiences among representatives of many medical fields involved in the treatment of complex and complicated clinical issues. Due to the specific focus of the Society, the largest group of attendees consisted of specialists in orthopedics.They were joined in discussions by general, pediatric, plastic, and maxillofacial surgeons, as well as specialists in anesthesiology, intensive care, and hyperbaric medicine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
W programie Zjazdu znalaz\u0142y si\u0119 panele tematyczne po\u015bwi\u0119cone\u00a0mi\u0119dzy innymi podstawom mikrochirurgii, chirurgii rekonstrukcyjnej w zapaleniach ko\u015bci i infekcjach oko\u0142oprotezowych, chirurgii rekonstrukcyjnej stopy, a tak\u017ce bioin\u017cynierii w chirurgii rekonstrukcyjnej. Szczeg\u00f3lne zainteresowanie wzbudzi\u0142y sesje z udzia\u0142em zaproszonych wyk\u0142adowc\u00f3w zagranicznych, takich jak prof. Marco Innocenti (W\u0142ochy), prof. Pierluigi Tos (W\u0142ochy), prof. Alexandru Georgescu (Rumunia), dr pu\u0142kownik Ean Saberski (USA), a tak\u017ce \u2013 w formie online \u2013 prof. Joon Pio Hong (Korea Po\u0142udniwa) oraz Mr. Rhidian Morgan-Jones (Wielka Brytania). Wyj\u0105tkowym punktem programu by\u0142a sesja z naszymi przyjaci\u00f3\u0142mi anestezjologami, dedykowana wyzwaniom zwi\u0105zanym z prowadzeniem obci\u0105\u017conych pacjent\u00f3w, a tak\u017ce wyst\u0105pienie prof. Jacka Kota \u2013 \u015bwiatowej klasy specjalisty medycyny hiperbarycznej i nurkowej, kierownika Krajowego O\u015brodka Medycyny Hiperbarycznej oraz Kliniki Medycyny Hiperbarycznej i Ratownictwa Morskiego Instytutu Medycyny Morskiej i Tropikalnej GUMed. Dyskusje panelowe toczy\u0142y si\u0119 w atmosferze otwarto\u015bci, dzielenia si\u0119 do\u015bwiadczeniem i interdyscyplinarnej wymiany, a uczestnikom jak zwykle brakowa\u0142o czasu na om\u00f3wienie wszystkich frapuj\u0105cych kwestii.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
An excellent addition to the discussions and exchange of experiences was the microsurgical suturing workshop, which attracted many participants. Under the guidance of experts, attendees could practice advanced techniques using microscopes from Zeiss and Mitaka, as well as the innovative Symani robotic system. These workshops provided hands-on experience with the most cutting-edge solutions in micro- and supermicrosurgery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During Friday's gala dinner, the titles of Honorary Member of the Polish Society of Reconstructive Musculoskeletal Surgery were officially presented to two outstanding figures: Prof. Marco Innocenti and Prof. Alexandru Georgescu. This gesture expressed deep appreciation for their long-standing contributions to the development of global reconstructive surgery and their invaluable support for the activities of the Polish Orthoplastic Society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
